French Fry Flavored Ice Cream in Shreveport?

Brooklyn’s Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the people behind the mac-and-cheese ice cream . . . teamed up with the Idaho Potato Commission, the people behind potatoes . . . to create a wild new combination. It’s call Malted Milkshake and Fries! So will you be able to find this potato flavored ice cream around the Shreveport area?

Well probably not. The limited-edition ice cream flavor just launched yesterday, and is only avaiable in New York City and in Los Angeles, BUT, you can order it online for $12 a pint! If you’re a major potato or fry lover, it may be worth it, I guess.  There are actual French fry pieces in the ice cream, which were created using Idaho potato flakes.  They say the flavor gives them “old-school diner vibes.”

I think I’ll stick to my plain vanilla ice cream.
