More Storms And Heavy Rain To Ring In 2023 in Shreveport

After the arctic blast that ripped through Shreveport, and the entire country… it’s warming up and we’ll have highs in the 60’s and even 70’s throughout the ArkLaTex to ring in 2023!

Warmer temps aren’t all we’ll have — rain and storms will help us wrap up 2022 this week.

According to our weather partners at KTAL-NBC 6, There is a Marginal Risk (the lowest risk) of severe storms with damaging wind gusts. Of more concern will be heavy rainfall from late Thursday into early Friday. At this time there are no watches. However, this will be monitored closely. The good news is that the New Year weekend will be rain-free and unusually warm. By the way, the first Monday of 2023 will be stormy.
